The Welsh Government has commissioned Opinion Research Services (ORS) to undertake an evaluation of its Dementia Action Plan 2018-2022. As part of this a survey has been launched to understand people’s experiences of dementia diagnosis, and the subsequent support offered or needed. It is designed to be completed by someone living with a dementia diagnosis (with support if needed), OR by a carer of a person living with dementia, OR both together. The survey will only take about 10 minutes to complete, and is available in Welsh and English.
The aim is to get the survey circulated to as many people living with dementia, or caring for someone with dementia, in Wales as possible. Of particular interest is people who have received a diagnosis in the last 5 years, and/or their carers.
